Il est professeur retrait\u00e9 de la Facult\u00e9 des sciences de l\u2019\u00e9ducation \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Laval. Il a travaill\u00e9 pendant quelques ann\u00e9es aupr\u00e8s d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ves du primaire ayant des difficult\u00e9s d\u2019apprentissage puis a travaill\u00e9 comme clinicien pendant plus de 30 ans aupr\u00e8s de personnes vivant avec une d\u00e9ficience intellectuelle et un trouble du spectre de l\u2019autisme. Il fut tour \u00e0 tour psychologue, directeur des services professionnels et adjoint \u00e0 la direction g\u00e9n\u00e9rale dans trois \u00e9tablissements diff\u00e9rents. Adepte de la recherche des meilleures pratiques et du d\u00e9veloppement des outils cliniques, il a offert du soutien et il a \u00e9t\u00e9 formateur aupr\u00e8s d\u2019intervenants de plusieurs \u00e9tablissements.
